"The Strong" is one of Speakers of Loneliness' most special tracks, as it was composed as a gift to the Taylorsville High School cheerleader squad. It is characterized by piercing chords, bombastic drumming, and fast tempo. Each of these attributes is designed to allude to the song's title. In contrast is a half time insert preceding the final chorus, allowing the listener to relax and enjoying the composition's blissful harmonies.
